About Secure Socket Layout (SSL)
When you are browsing on a genuine SSL server, you will see a small padlock icon at the bottom of your browser. You can view the Security Certificate by double clicking on the padlock. It is always worth doing this to check that the certificate hasn’t expired. This can be viewed once you come through to the payment page.
Your computer enters the secure area of the site and creates an encrypted link between your computer and our server. This encrypts all information passed between the two computers, preventing anyone else from reading or changing the information as it travels through the internet.
Credit Card Transactions
We use the highest level of security when taking credit card payments online. In addition, it is worthwhile to note that all United Kingdom credit cards are protected under the Consumer Credit Act (1974). This limits your maximum liability on your credit card to £50, in the event of its loss or fraudulent use. As well as that, once the credit card issuer has been notified of any loss or fraudulent use all liability ceases completely.
